The limited cancer health service facilities in these areas caused many cancer patients from outside Jakarta to be referred to hospitals in Jakarta. This certainly adds to the weight of costs incurred by patients and their families. As a manifestation of the concern of the Indonesian Cancer Information and Support Center Association to help underprivileged cancer patients with the support of donors, a shelter for patients and companions has been established while undergoing therapy in Jakarta.
As a form of CISC’s concern to help underprivileged cancer patients, since April 2008 the CISC has provided three shelters for patients from outside Jakarta and their companions during their therapy in Jakarta, located at:
- RKK CISC “ENNY”, Jl. Murtadho XVI, No. 383A, RT09/RW06, Paseban, Senen, Jakarta Pusat
- RKK CISC, Jl. Anggrek Neli Murni 2 Blok C No. 33, RT 009, RW 01, Palmerah, Jakarta Barat.
- RKK CISC, Jl. Anggrek Neli Murni VIIB, Blok A No. 73, RT 004, RW 01, Palmerah, Jakarta Barat.
